INTERSECTIONS Artists Added to the Chispa Line-up!!!
As you know…
The 1st Chispa of the year is happening at INTERSECTIONS. INTERSECTIONS is nine days of multidisciplinary, curated performances celebrating art as an inspiration for conversation and connection. It’s happening at the Atlas Performing Arts Center – 1333 H Street NE – Washington, DC…
We’re excited to announce that…
there will be special INTERSECTIONS “sneak preview” performances by Brad Linde and Collide-o-Scope Music.
Brad Linde is a saxophonist/pianist/educator living in the Washington D.C. metro area.
Collide-O-Scope Music performs work by Luigi Nono, Iannis Xenakis, Chrisopher Bailey, Douglass Geers, John Cage, and Alvin Lucier in a concert for piano, clarinet, and electronics.
Video!
Brad Linde, Duo at Caffe Vivaldi (its a toe-tapper!)
Colliide-O-Scope’s performance of Edmund Campion’s “Natural Selection”, with some electronic improvisation, with the classic Psychadelic Experience (1965) as the film.

Cool Chispa Review by Alex Priest
Packed house full of creatives, change agents, curious folks! @the fridge dc. All photos by Alex Priest Check it out: “Chispa is the spanish word for “spark” and rest assured, there was nothing but sparks flying at the Fridge in DC tonight. The Fridge is a bar/art gallery/event space in D.C. and by far one of the coolest that I’ve seen since I’ve lived here. Passion poured out in the form of ten completely different presentations, all united around a single purpose: to share what they’re thinking, dreaming and doing. This was Chispa D.C.“ Read the rest of Alex’s great write up and see pics here.
